Drs. Evan Packer, MD, MBA, and Lloyd Zucker, MD, neurosurgeons at the Brain and Spine Center South Florida and recognized leaders in brain and spinal procedures, have recently expanded their practice to the West Palm Beach/Palm Beach areas. They provide patient-centered, comprehensive care, offering both conservative and surgical management of a variety of neurological disorders.
Dr. Evan Packer, FACS, FAANS, is a board-certified specialist who is respected for his clinical knowledge and personalized treatment plans. His elective practice primarily focuses on spinal surgery. He regularly diagnoses and treats a wide range of spinal conditions in the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines. He performs cuttingedge procedures such as artificial disc replacements, minimally invasive spinal surgeries, and robotic spinal surgeries. In addition, he has received advanced brain tumor and spinal oncology training from Moffitt, one of the United States’ foremost cancer centers. He takes the extra time to discuss complex procedures with patients and their families, while simultaneously determining the best treatment for that individual. Dr. Packer thoroughly reviews each patient’s case, exploring every available treatment option before recommending surgery.
Dr. Lloyd Zucker, FAANS, a board-certified neurosurgeon, cares for brain and spinal conditions. He treats brain tumors, intracerebral hemorrhages, hemorrhagic strokes, and brain trauma. With a fellowship in complex spinal surgery and instrumentation, he cares for diseases of all areas of the spine. As the chief of neurosurgery and the director of neurosurgical services at both Delray Medical Center and Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Zucker has championed bringing the newest stateof- the-art technologies to the region. Dr. Zucker subspecializes in a variety of neurological areas, including radiosurgery, neuro-oncology, stereotactic procedures, use of the Monteris NeuroBlate® System for ablation of brain tumors, and the use of focused ultrasound and deep-brain stimulation for movementdisorder surgery.
Drs. Packer and Zucker are committed to patient-centered care, providing the newest techniques, utilizing computerized guidance, and minimally invasive methods that improve the patient experience and outcome.
