Stephen M. Quinnan, MD, FAAOS, is an innovator in orthopedic surgery. His exceptional background includes medical education at Columbia University and fellowships at the world-renowned Shock Trauma Center and Royal Brisbane Hospital. Dr. Quinnan practiced for 12 years and served as chief of orthopedic trauma at the University of Miami before joining the Paley Institute in 2020.
Dr Quinnan invented and published groundbreaking surgical treatments in limb reconstruction and deformity correction, pelvic and hip reconstruction, severe fracture treatment, fracture nonunion, bone loss treatment, and post-traumatic and amputee reconstruction. In addition, he provides the highest level of extremity fracture care, 3D custom solutions, and treatment of osteomyelitis. He is a leader in amputee optimization including osseointegration, targeted muscle reinnervation, and residuum lengthening. He is the only active member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association in Palm Beach County and the incoming president of the Limb Lengthening Reconstruction Society.
