For over two decades, Donna Lederman, “The Radio Lady”, was one of the sports and entertainment world’s top producers. From the bright lights of the Country Music Awards to the manicured turf of the PGA TOUR, Donna played a major role in the success of countless national events.
In 2016, however, Donna made a change. Leveraging the professional and personal connections she made throughout her journey, she decided to transition into a career in real estate. She is still producing, but instead of major events, it’s now triumphant results for her buyers and sellers.
The value of a strong work ethic is a fundamental part of Donna’s character. So, it’s no surprise that with very little help she was quickly able to string together some deals. But being who she is, Donna knew she could become more consistent. She needed to surround herself with bright minds and industry leaders. To go from good to great, Donna needed the experience and resources of Waterfront Properties and Club Communities.
“When I found out Donna made the jump into real estate,” said Waterfront owner Rob Thomson, “I knew that she could make it into the top tier of agents because of her work ethic and ambition.”
Donna has all the qualities that make a great Realtor: She is meticulous, a quick learner, and a great listener who knows the area and takes the time to deeply understand the needs of her buyers and sellers. “All of that,” said Waterfront Business Manager David Abernathy, “plus she’s tenacious… Donna is the kind of Realtor you enjoy working with. In the last week of February 2020, she wrote three contracts for over $6 million in sales combined.”
Rising to the Top
Donna started at Waterfront Properties and hit the ground running. She learned from her peers, her coaches, and worked hand-in-hand with the company’s elite marketing team to develop her skill set. She made the most of her opportunities and soon enough was selling more than she ever had before.
Since fall of 2018, Donna has recorded 15 transactions, totaling over $11.5 million, including five transactions over $1 million. Of the 15 deals, Donna has brought the buyer 11 times, proving the Waterfront system is the real deal.
“Donna is THE Realtor you want working with you,” said former client Kip Zimmerman. “She’s as professional and reliable as they come, outworks everyone you ever met and has a truly special knack for matching up people with the homes and communities that suit them to a tee.”
The special bond Donna creates with her buyers and sellers frequently lives long after the deal is closed. Donna’s business is relationship bases and brings that mentality to each buyer and seller.
“Donna simply does it all from beginning to close and beyond,” said former customer John Wiggans. “From finding the right waterfront home, negotiating the deal before I saw the property, to the inspection… She even helped me with the contractors for the remodel. She has been a wonderful asset and a great new friend.”
Donna PLUS Waterfront
The best part about working with Donna is that you don’t just get “Donna The Realtor,” you get the entire Waterfront Properties team. At Waterfront Properties and Club Communities they think of themselves as much a marketing firm as a real estate brokerage.
At the company’s headquarters in Jupiter, a diligent staff of over twenty professionals works closely with real estate agents on a daily basis. Waterfront’s staff and agents expertly market properties, reaching buyers all over the world. As a company, Waterfront prides itself on empowering agents with the most up-to-date marketing technology, equipment, and strategies available.
Community Involvement
In spite of spending the majority of her time at the Waterfront offices, Donna maintains close ties across Palm Beach County, supporting several major community events, including The Honda Classic. Coming off her 9th tournament, Donna has been a committed member of the Honda Classic family, contributing to the growth in more than one way. From establishing the network for radio communications to operating beverage sales in the Bear Trap, her commitment to the tournament has been unwavering. In 2019, the Honda Classic injected $5.1 million to various organizations through Honda Classic Cares, with the lead gift of $1.075 (million) to the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Organization, to advance and enhance their various pediatric programs and initiatives.
