1971: The Year that Rock Grew Up

Join Palm Beach Atlantic University as they present a rocking show of music from 1971 – a watershed year that saw the emergence of singer-songwriter, heavy metal, glam rock, and new styles that combined jazz, country, and classical music with rock and roll.
The concert will feature the PBA music faculty performing songs that were hits in 1971, the “golden year” of rock music. The concert will feature music by Chicago, The Who, Carole King, Yes, The Carpenters, Bill Withers, and more. The highlight will be a partial reunion of the band, Bullet, who will perform their 1971 hit “Blue Eyes, White Lies” with the faculty.
Parking is free for all on campus events.
