50 Years! Earth Day 2020

This Wednesday, April 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. While many of our activities have been placed on hold as we practice social distancing, the City of Boynton Beach is happy to present a virtual Earth Day 2020 experience! This site has links to a number of virtual events, activities, and resources you can participate in from the safety of your home.
The theme of Earth Day 2020 is Climate Action. Among the activities on the site, we have created a Boynton Beach Climate Action Pledge, a simple step community members can take to commit to living more sustainably. Please take the pledge and share with your friends and neighbors! After taking the pledge, if you live in the City of Boynton Beach Utilities Service Area you may enter to win a FREE rain barrel!
