Calaveras Cantina Hosts Fundraiser for Team Member Injured in Boat Accident

It was just another night in March, when Calaveras Cantina team member Dustin Lackford was injured in a shocking boat accident. He was emergency medevac’d to St. Mary’s Trauma Center where he had his crushed kidney removed and was treated for numerous breaks and injuries. Following his treatments, and a prolonged coma from the traumatic brain injury he suffered, Lackford is now awake and slowly improving. The medical bills are adding up though. With family out of state and no way to work, Lackford has a great need for assistance. To aid with his bills, including those needed for continuing care, Calaveras Cantina is hosting a special fundraiser for Dustin Lackford on Friday, July 7, beginning at 9 p.m.
The popular hot spot will be donating 100% of all sales directly to Lackford and his family. The evening will include live music with DJ, raffles, and giveaways throughout the event and the chance to enjoy the restaurant’s award-winning culinary creations and tasty libations.
