ArtServe Live’s Virtual “Performing Arts Spotlight” Presents The Chonga Girls! Who is ready to get Chongalicious? On November 11 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., ArtServe Live has an exclusive “Where Are They Now” interview with Miami-Dade’s own “Girls of the 305,” Laura Di Lorenzo and Mimi Davila. This free, interactive event is open to all via Facebook Live or Zoom.

Discussion will explore the rise of The Chonga Girls’ fame, present-day life during these crazy times and what’s next for these two performance artists. You can join us and leave questions and comments on Facebook Live.
One half of The Chonga Girls, Laura Di Lorenzo is a comedian and a writer, originally from Venezuela and raised in Miami. She has been doing improv and sketch comedy for over 10 years and has been featured in multiple digital companies such as Mitú, Buzzfeed, Mas Mejor and LATV as a producer/actress/writer focusing on creating original comedic content. 

Her partner, Mimi Davila is a Cuban/Bulgarian actress, comedian and writer raised in Miami. Back in 2007, these two best friends’ viral video “Chongalicious” marked the start of digital LatinX movement, bringing to light a new subculture and starting a nationwide conversation.
