Congregation B’nai Israel to Host Weekend Music Fest with Nefesh Mountain Bluegrass Band, along with Children’s Concert with Mama Doni

Congregation B’nai Israel (CBI), an inclusive Reform congregation in Boca Raton with a membership of nearly 1,000 families, announced that the Nefesh Mountain bluegrass band will perform on October 13 and 14 in the Cohen/Friedkin Sanctuary at Congregation B’nai Israel, 2200 Yamato Road, Boca Raton. In addition, popular children’s singer, Mama Doni, will perform in concert on October 15.
Nefesh Mountain pioneered a new sound that merges Jewish Soul with Bluegrass and old-time musical traditions. Founded by husband and wife team, Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff, the group’s recent debut album also features a number of bluegrass greats.
Both Lindberg and Zasloff perform, along with their band, in Nefesh Mountain and Mama Doni.

October 13, 7:30 p.m., Shabbat Experience—Nefesh Mountain performs with the CBI clergy.
October 14, 7:00 p.m. (doors open), Nefesh Mountain in Concert, pre-concert reception will feature a performance by The Shade Tree Pickers. Premium reserved tickets and the dessert reception tickets are $118. Reserved seats are $54. General admission is $36 and student admission is $20.
October 15, 2:00 p.m., Mama Doni Children’s Concert, adults are $18, children 12 and under are $10. Pre-concert fun with Miss Susan.
