Fall Prevention Lecture and Lunch with Good Samaritan Medical Center

One in four Americans aged 65 and older falls every year, and falling is the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries for older Americans. Falls are not just a normal part of aging. Older Americans and their caregivers can take steps to prevent them. If you’re an older American, you can lower your chances of falling.
On Thursday, June 13, 12-1 p.m., join the YMCA of the Palm Beaches and Dr. Susanna Hearn, PT, DPT, GCS, of Good Samaritan Medical Center, who will present an educational lecture on falling, risk screening, safety tips, and prevention. Lunch will be served.
