FASHION AND PHILANTHROPY WITH FURRY FRIENDS

On Thursday, April 4th from 6-8pm, famed designer, Jackie Rogers, will host a fashion show worth barking about. In conjunction with Royal Palm Beach-based A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue, Rogers will unveil highlights of her new fall collection to be walked down the runway accompanied by adoptable dogs from the organization.

Rivaled only by her passion for fashion, Rogers has been a long-time animal lover. Though she has always had dogs, it wasn’t until four years ago that she turned to adoption and found her two long-haired dachshund dogs, Viva the Diva and Luvi. Today she is an avid supporter of rescue operations, and will merge her love for animals with that of couture fashion for the first time here in Palm Beach.

A Second Chance Puppy and Kitten Rescue is 100% run by volunteers, and in much need of funding. Event highlights will include an open bar and passed hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour. Guests are invited to play with the animals on site. Twenty percent of all proceeds on the night will benefit the organization.
