🎬 Film Screening & Expert Panel Discussion
Hosted by The Greene School, this special community screening features Can’t Look Away: The Case Against Social Media, a powerful documentary that exposes the dark side of social media and its devastating impact on young users.
The film serves as a gripping exploration of how social media affects youth mental health and family dynamics, sparking vital conversations about online safety, regulation, and responsible use. The content is not appropriate for young audiences.
Following the 75-minute documentary, a distinguished panel discussion will take place, bringing together experts in mental health, online safety, and child protection to further explore the issues raised:
Dr. Raquel Anderson, LMHC, NCC
Rose Bronstein, Social Media Safety Advocate, Founder of Buckets Over Bullying and the Bronstein Family Foundation, Co-Founder of Tech Safe Learning Coalition
Greg Schiller, CEO of the Child Rescue Coalition and former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, who prosecuted internet crimes against children.
The entire event is presented in partnership with the Child Rescue Coalition, Smartphone Free Childhood, and MAMA Movement.
