Fresh Rx Farm to Table Fundraising Brunch at Lox Farms 

Created by Lox Farms’ owner Margaret Duriez, Fresh Rx was founded on the belief that diet can play an essential role in treating disease. The program enables physicians at area hospitals like Jupiter Medical Center to write fresh produce prescriptions that are filled and delivered weekly by Lox Farms, ensuring that patients have access to nutrient-dense produce grown according to organic practices and free from synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Funds for Fresh RX are raised through immersive farm-to-table dining events which include a private tour of the farm, followed by a uniquely crafted plant-based meal prepared by a top local chef. On December 8th, guests are invited to a family-friendly event featuring brunch crafted exclusively by Isabel’s Kitchen and Pizza Paradise using vegetables grown right from Lox Farms, as well as a holiday market where attendees can shop items from a selection of local purveyors and artisans ahead of the gift-giving season.
