Herbalist Workshop at Grandview Public Market

Unlock the secrets of Turmeric, a spice touted as a super food and used to treat a range of maladies, from breathing issues and easing depression to steadying blood pressure and fighting infections. Herbalist, gardener and forager Juliane Miklos leads an interactive, hour-long discussion about medicinal and healing herbs and plants and cultivating them at home. Complimentary tea highlighting the flora will be served and participants are requested to bring their own cups. Paper and writing utensils are provided.

Born and raised in South Florida, Juliane Miklos graduated from the University of Florida in 2014 and spent two years working on organic farms throughout the United States. She has studied under Miami-based herbalist Julia Onnie-Hay of Bless Botanicals, and is currently enrolled in the Family Herbalism Program at the Florida School of Holistic Living in Orlando.

Grandview Public Market is located one mile south of I-95 on Clare Avenue in West Palm Beach.
