Hospice Evening 2020 “Among the Palms”

Palm Beach Island Hospice Foundation will host one of the most anticipated events of the social season- Hospice Evening 2020 “Among the Palms”- on Thursday, January 16 at the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. The Chairpersons for this extraordinary event are Jim and Gaye Engel. Honorary Chairwomen are Nicole Atkinson and Betsy Turner.
Hospice Evening 2020 “Among the Palms” will begin at 7:00 pm with a cocktail reception sponsored by Gold Benefactor, Bacardi USA, Inc., and entertainment by the Danny Beck Band, in the museum’s Grand Hall. Grand Benefactor Saks Fifth Avenue Palm Beach will present a New York-style runway fashion show featuring Oscar de la Renta Spring 2020 Collection with a personal appearance by their two fashion designers-Laura King and Fernando Garcia. Following the fashion show, guests will enjoy dinner and dancing.
“The show by a legendary fashion house staged in such a unique and historic venue ensures that there’s no other event quite like it in Palm Beach,” said Mark W. Cook, President of Palm Beach Island Hospice Foundation. “We are thrilled to have the iconic fashions of Oscar de la Renta featured on the runway as we celebrate our 37th anniversary of caring for patients and families when they need it most. Thanks to all of our generous, committed supporters and sponsors, we can continue to help those in need of Hospice services.”
Palm Beach Island Hospice Foundation continues to its commitment to the support of Hospice services in Palm Beach County. Through fundraising efforts and the dedicated work of their independent volunteer group, the foundation provides resources for programs that support end-of-life care for patients and their families. It is anticipated that Hospice Evening will once again be a sold-out event.
