Master Chef Mark Mailitello-Swank Master Chef Dinner Series

An al fresco evening in the green fields at Swank Specialty Produce will feature James Beard Award-winning chef Mark Militello. Locally, Militello is revered as one of the “Mango Gang” – a group of Miami area chefs who revolutionized the South Florida dining landscape in the late 1980’s. He is often credited with putting South Florida on America’s culinary map and is recognized for creating contemporary cuisine that has Italian, Asian and Caribbean influences. In addition to the James Beard Award for “Best Regional Chef” in the Southeast, he received two “Golden Dish” awards from GQ magazine and a “Distinguished Restaurant Award” from Conde Nast Traveler, among other prestigious accolades.
This Swank Master Chef Dinner will also feature the best of Florida’s farmers, ranchers, artisanal producers, micro-brewers, distillers and organic wine makers, all coming together for five-course feast of the highest quality.

The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Pole Barn with hand passed canapes and cocktails on the Farm grounds. Then at 8:00 p.m. guests will enjoy the sit down portion of the dinner with wines paired by our Sommelier and music provided by local entertainment. Adults 21 and over please.
