Miami City Ballet will kick off its 2017-18 season at the Kravis Center November 17-19 with “Jewels (Program One).” This full-length ballet is presented in three parts and features choreography by the great George Balanchine. Dance lovers of all ages will find something to adore in the trio of Emeralds, with romantic ballet set to music by Gabriel Fauré; Rubies, a jazz-infused number with a score from Igor Stravinsky; and Diamonds, a glittering ode to Russian ballet with music by Tchaikovsky.
