$750Memoirs about social class and culture, an aristocrat’s account of house arrest amid the tumult of Russian history, a 2017 Pulitzer Prize winner about the horrors of slavery, and a story of love and survival over five decades highlight the 2018 season of MorseLife Literary Society beginning Thursday, January 11. This is the tenth year of the successful series of “breakfasts with celebrated authors,” the brainchild of Mary Alice Pappas, Senior Vice President of MorseLife Foundation.
The author for January 11 is J.D. Vance, “Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of Family and Culture in Crisis.”
