The beloved story, forever immortalized in film, follows retired couple Ethel and Norman Thayer as they spend their summers on Golden Pond. One year, they’re visited by their daughter, Chelsea, with her fiancé and his son in tow. What follows is an open discussion about the passage of time, the turbulent relationship Chelsea shared with her father, and the trials Ethel and Norman face during this final stage of life.
