Opera Fuoco: The Labyrinth of Love

Paris-based Opera Fuoco, an early music chamber group, will perform French, Italian, German and English arias from the High Baroque. The program, “The Labyrinth of Love,” features songs for soprano and mezzo-soprano by Handel, Vivaldi, Rameau, Johann Sebastian Bach and others, exploring the theme of love in mythology.
Two members of Opera Fuoco’s Young Artists Program will bring the music to life, accompanied by a chamber quartet of flute, violin, cello and harpsichord. “The listener journeys through a labyrinth of human emotions, represented by elements of nature,” Opera Fuoco says.
