THE DISINVITED, the award-winning high desert thriller from filmmaker Devin Lawrence, will screen at Lake Worth Cinemas in West Palm Beach, FL on Monday, November 17, as part of a theatrical roadshow from distributor Dark Star Pictures.
The roadshow begins in San Francisco, CA on Thursday, November 6, before continuing to Rochester, NY on Tuesday, November 11, and Los Angeles, CA from Friday, November 14 through Thursday, November 20.
This run precedes the film’s North American VOD release on Tuesday, November 18 (Apple pre-order link available).
A portion of proceeds from the $10 tickets benefits Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

ABOUT THE FILM
THE DISINVITED is a darkly comedic, gritty, horror-tinged thriller set against the stark desert landscape of Joshua Tree and the bustling urban backdrop of Los Angeles.
The story follows Carl, who decides—against his or anyone else’s better judgment—to crash an event where he is no longer welcome. What unfolds is a single chaotic day filled with betrayal, violence, heartache, and exes who should never get back together. When Carl discovers he isn’t the only unwanted guest in the desert, he must choose between saving himself or risking everything for those who have wronged him.
The film recently won the Fusion Feature Audience Award at Dances with Films: Los Angeles (2024) following a successful festival circuit run.
Executive Producer Michael Mourgides will attend the West Palm Beach screening in person and participate in a Q&A following the film.
