SUMMARY:The Pap Corps' New Year's Eve Event at The Meat Market in Palm Beach
DESCRIPTION:The Pap Corps Announces 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Fundraiser at Meat Market Palm Beach\n“Imagine A New Year Without Cancer” \nCancer research supporters will be ringing in 2021 in a meaningful and exciting way! The Pap Corps’ 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve party at the Meat Market in Palm Beach will be a celebration of hope. The “Imagine a World Without Cancer” benefit is a key fundraiser for the nonprofit which supports cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Reservations start at $300 and outdoor seating is available\, in addition there are multiple sponsorship opportunities to support cancer research. Learn more at www.thepapcorps.org.\n“We are thrilled to continue our New Year’s Eve tradition at the Meat Market in Palm Beach\,” said Susan Diner\, chair of The Pap Corps. “As we look forward to 2021\, our organization is more determined than ever to support our mission of creating a world without cancer. If we can imagine it\, we can achieve it.”\nLast year’s bash was one of the premiere social highlights on the island\, and this year\, while social distancing rules will be in effect\, the fun will not be diminished. The party will begin with the DJ spinning in the Pommery Lounge while guests enjoy an exceptional culinary experience created by Executive Chef Sean Brasel\, paired with hand-crafted cocktails and sommelier selected wines. Then guests\, donned with party hats and favors\, will hit the dance floor as Chris Ferrara and The Common Good take the stage as everyone ushers in 2021 with a signature balloon drop in the main dining room.\n“This will be a night to remember\,” said Sarah Negrin\, director Palm Beach Pap Corps. “All in support of cancer research. I cannot think of a better way to start the new year!”\nTo view ticket and sponsorship levels and menu details\, visit www.thepapcorps.org. \nABOUT THE PAP CORPS \nSince its founding in 1952\, The Pap Corps has donated more than $110 million to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine\, including a historic $50 million pledge in 2016 dedicating The Pap Corps Campus at Sylvester in Deerfield Beach. The Pap Corps\, a grassroots organization\, derives its name from Dr. George Papanicolaou\, a pioneer in cytopathology and early cancer detection\, who introduced the world to the revolutionary ‘Pap’ test. A small group of women began the organization to support his efforts\, and over the decades it has grown into an organization of over 22\,000 men and women\, in over 50 chapters\, who raise funds to support all types of cancers.
