Waterlily Celebration

On June 15, McKee Botanical Garden in Vero Beach will host its annual Waterlily Celebration from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Home to one of the largest outdoor waterlily collections in the United States, the 18-acre garden boasts nearly 500 blooming plants and more than 100 varietals. Arrive early for a self-guided tour and the chance to spot one of the night-blooming varieties that open between dusk and mid-morning. Other activities include repotting demonstrations, a plant sale, and the waterlily photo contest on display in the Hall of Giants. Guests at the celebration can vote for the People’s Choice Award, with winners chosen from adult and youth divisions.
