Woodie Guthrie’s American Song

Palm Beach Dramaworks in West Palm Beach is once again imbuing the summer with a musical spirit. From July 13 through August 5, it will stage Woody Guthrie’s American Song, an ensemble musical theater piece adapted from Guthrie’s songs and writings. Familiar tunes, such as “This Land is Your Land,” will take on new meanings when contextualized to tell a narrative.
