This production will be the first performance in South Florida of the new three-act version of the play by Steven Karam and PJ Paparelli. columbinus, a play sparked by the April 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, is a meeting of fact and fiction that illuminates the realities of adolescent culture by exploring the events surrounding the shootings. Quoting Shakespeare
An evening of short plays by local playwrights derived from the Bard's words and famous quotes, like "All the world's a stage." Plays are read by members of the Shakespeare Troupe of South Florida, recently back from last season's school tours, which included Palm Beach Day Academy and King's Academy.
