Downtown Palm Beach Gardens will kick off fall with an array of fitness, fashion, and music events throughout the moth of October. The lifestyle destination will welcome fitness lovers to get their sweat on with HIIT, Zumba, and yoga classes, as well as weekly Fitness for Making Strides (October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30) at 8:30 a.m., which benefit the organization’s fight against breast cancer in the United States. Zumba classes are led by Joanna Cavalcante (October 5, 12, 19, and 26) , HIIT classes are led by Shannon Burrows (October 7, 14, 21, and 28), and yoga classes are led by Diane Cole (October 8, 15, and 29). The workouts cost $5 (cash only) and guests need only a yoga mat or towel and a bottle of water).
For yogis who want to meet a four-legged friend, the Downtown Collective will host DOGA: Doggy Yoga to benefit Barky Pines, a local animal rescue, on October 25 at 4 p.m. The rescue will bring the pups, guests bring the yoga mats. The event costs $15 and proceeds will support Barky Pines.
On Thursday, October 22, the Downtown Collective will host the Striding Survivors Fashion Show, featuring local breast cancer survivors modeling fashion from the locale’s retailers. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and guests are encouraged to wear their pink finest.
For music lovers, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens will host free concerts in the Centre Court every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. through November 27. Local bands, like People Upstairs (October 2), The Groove (October 23), Casey Raines (October 30), and The Samantha Russell Band (November 27), will take the stage to perform for the crowds.
