Rosemary Square in West Palm Beach will help get visitors in the festive spirit this month with fall and Halloween-themed events.
On October 17, from 3 to 5 p.m., stop by for Armory on the Square: Creepy Cartoon Workshop, led by Armory Art Center instructor Craig McInnis. In this family-friendly class, participants will explore basic principles and advanced techniques of character design with a focus on the weird and creepy side of things to get in the Halloween spirit.
For those looking to get moving, join fitness instructor Alexandra Johnson for a Pumpkin Pump workout class on October 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests will lift, squat, and press pumpkins for a special Halloween-themed full body workout on the Square. Attendees can take a complimentary pumpkin home post-workout and are encouraged to dress festively. Bring a mat, water, and towel. Tickets are $20 per person.
Round out the festivities with Pumpkin Calligraphy by calligrapher Carla Hagan on October 23, from 1 to 4 p.m., and October 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. After selecting the perfect pumpkin at the Fall Pumpkin Patch near the Wishing Tree, visitors can add fall flair by having Hagan customize it for the occasion.
