Festive Fun at Cox Science Center and Aquarium

Annual Fall Family Fun Fest, Spooky Laser Lights and Bites, MolecuBar cocktail demonstrations, and seasonal camps await this month

Things are feeling festive at Cox Science Center and Aquarium, where Annual Fall Family Fun Fest, Spooky Laser Lights and Bites, MolecuBar cocktail demonstrations, entertaining seasonal camps, and more await this month.

On October 22, Annual Fall Family Fun Fest–hosted in partnership with the Dreher Park Neighborhood Association–will invite families to a day of live entertainment, outdoor games and inflatables, a mini petting zoo, fall and science-themed crafts, mini-golf, and face paintings. Come dressed in your Halloween best October 28 for the center’s Spooky Science Laser Lights and Bites. From 6 and 9 p.m., watch smashing pumpkin demonstrations, tour a mad scientist’s lab, and enjoy treats from giveaway stations. The center’s Halloween-themed laser concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.

The autumnal fun rounds out November 17, between 6 and 9 p.m., where guests ages 21 and older can discover the flavor profiles and chemical reactions behind their favorite cocktails during the MolecuBar event. Explore interactive mixology demos, sample bites of local flare, be the judge at the molecular gastronomy competition, and enjoy the evening’s laser light concerts. The center will also host science and tech camps for curious children at two locations this season: the main Science Center in West Palm Beach and the STEM Studio Jupiter location in Downtown Abacoa. Now through February 20, parents and guardians can register children between the ages of 5 and 12 years in sessions.
