Food on the Move: Palm Beach County Food Truck Invasion

For a dining experience with true variation and community comradery, a trip to one of the weekly Food Truck Invasions is a must for the whole family. With stops dotting the Palm Beach County map on various week days, and a cavalcade of gourmet mobile kitchens making the rounds, there is a fantastic selection of regional fare, fusion cuisine, southern comfort food and sweets for dessert, all while dining al fresco, a la picnic-style.

Where To Go

Abacoa Town Center, Jupiter – Every second Friday of the month to food trucks descend on Main Street and University Boulevard in Abacoa Town Center from 5-10 p.m.  Next up: August 8, 2014.

Royal Palm Beach Commons Park, Royal Palm Beach – On the last Friday of the month, from 5-9:30 p.m., Royal Palm Beach Commons Park is overrun with flavor when the invasion hits the streets. Next up: July 25, 2014.

 

Returning in October

Wellington Amphitheater, Wellington – Beginning on October 16, 2014, the Wellington Amphitheater welcomes the return of the weekly Food Truck Invasion. Every Thursday from 5-9:30 p.m., west county gets a flavor invasion, just in time for the more temperate weather.

Constitution Park, Tequesta – Starting on October 3, Tequesta welcomes back its monthly food truck party. On the first Friday of the month, Constitution Park becomes one large picnic from 5-9 p.m., with plenty of fun to be had for the kiddies at the large jungle gym.
