The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach Is Everything Summer Should Be

It was a long road to the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach’s newest iteration, but good things, as they say, are worth the wait.

It was a long road to the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach’s newest iteration, but good things, as they say, are worth the wait. The much-loved property has definitely taken it up a notch with exciting new dining options, an enhanced pool experience, and a gorgeous reconceptualizing of public spaces and rooms, which will soon include poolside terrace rooms with a distinctive vintage Palm Beach aesthetic. The spirit of maximum serenity is as seductive to locals as it is to visitors. Whether you come for casual drinks by the sea oats or a celebratory weekend, consult our highly subjective list of must-dos for the Palm Beach crowd.

Get beach-ready. Indulging in the Coco Beach Buff is like slipping into new skin. This signature treatment at the spa combines exfoliation via a sugar and ginger-lime scrub with the relaxation of a massage and the supreme hydration of warm coconut argan oil. Stay a little longer and take advantage of the spa’s zen-inducing facilities.

Snag a cabana by the adult pool. These lushly draped cocoons offer a quiet, comfy spot to escape the sun, nap in privacy, or sip water from a freshly cracked coconut.

Brunch it up at Florie’s. The new Sunday brunch menu is so prolific, you’ll be tempted to spend the entire afternoon bouncing between your table and the chef stations, which include salt-crusted whole fish and a tandoori-roasted suckling pig. Add oysters and shellfish, a ridiculous dessert display (the chilled exotic fruit soup is dreamy), and a Champagne bar, and you’ll be in gustatory heaven.

Raise a glass with wine and water sommelier Jessica Altieri. Her Sips of Summer series, offered through October, combines micro wine tastings with noshes from Florie’s. Next up: Truffles and Tuscany, pairing Tuscan wines and dishes like black truffle pizza, on July 25.

Put the daily routine on hold for a night. Or two. The redesigned accommodations—a modern take on classic Palm Beach, with a coral and pistachio palette, smoked-mirror accents, and tactile textures like silk wall coverings and painted cane panels—invite you to sleep in and do nothing. Isn’t that what summer should be?
