Farmers market fans, rejoice! Two local green markets will return Saturday, October 3.

The beloved West Palm Beach GreenMarket reopens on the waterfront for its twenty-sixth season. Patrons will be privy to more than 90 vendors, all of whom will be more spread out (10 feet apart) to better accommodate social distancing.

In addition, the focus will be on shopping as opposed to socializing, so there will be no activities for kids, café seating, live music, food samples, or bottomless mimosas—although single mimosas will still be available for purchase at the entrance for $4. Attendees will be required to wear masks and follow a path. Market hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Over in Loxahatchee, Swank Farm will also reinstitute its Saturday Market, operating between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The market, which took place from March through July, follows social distancing guidelines and includes a curated selection of area vendors such as Independent Seafood, Laurie’s Granola, Rosa Ice Cream of Jupiter, and Nisha Indian Foods, as well as an array of freshly picked goods from Swank Farm.
