GreenMarket Finds

When the smell of cider doughnuts wafts through the West Palm Beach Waterfront, you know it’s that time of year again. The GreenMarket returns to downtown October 6 with more than 90 vendors, including new faces such as Aioli, Eddie’s Organic Dark Chocolate, and Cocowatt coconut shakes, as well as favorites like Pumphouse Coffee Roasters, R&R Orchids, Dog Deli Canine Kitchen, and Hadaya exotic spices. Here, the PBI editors reveal their top GreenMarket picks.

La Montagne Des Saveurs
The La Montagne Des Saveurs booth is like a trip to the French countryside, where fromagers bring their artisanal cheeses to market. It’s hard to resist the creamy Époisses or the four-milk cheese made with buffalo, goat, sheep, and cow milks. New on my must-try list: a raw gouda with black truffle flakes.

Pascale’s Mango Hot Sauce
If you’re searching for a hot sauce that is the ultimate blend of sweet and savory, look no further. A hefty dose of Scotch bonnets balances beautifully with the tropical fruitiness of mango. It’s the perfect topping on just about any Latin or Caribbean dish, but it pairs especially well with fish and is a dream on breakfast tacos.

Swank Specialty Produce Edible Flowers
When attempting to cook a restaurant-quality dish at home, the right garnish can go a long way. Pick up a small container of multicolored pansies, marigolds, and violas from Swank Farm’s produce stand to take your presentation to the next level. Whether atop elaborate desserts or avocado toast, edible flowers make for an Instagram-ready plate.
