Holiday Home Tour

The Flamingo Park Neighborhood Association (FPNA) will host its popular holiday home tour—a tradition since 1991 in which hosts open their decorated homes to the public—December 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. “Flamingo Park prides itself on preserving the natural beauty and historic significance of our neighborhood,” says Tanya Lewicki, FPNA board president. “This event showcases the extraordinary effort our homeowners put into doing that.” At each participating home, guests (ages 21 and older) can sample bites and spirits from local restaurants. Tickets are $75 in advance or $90 at the door.

Tickets are $75 per person in advance, and $90 per person at the door. To purchase, visit flamingopark.org.

Hive Home, Gift & Garden

The shoppable showroom at Hive Home, Gift & Garden—where you’ll find stylish vignettes showcasing furniture, lighting, and home accessories plus a floral studio, Hive for Kids, and gifts—is only the beginning of Sara McCann’s Hive empire. Since founding the McCann Design Group in 2000, she’s also opened his and hers apparel boutiques and the instant classic Hive Bakery & Café, a chic breakfast and lunch spot that recently added dinner service (Monday to Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m.).

Civil Society Brewing Co.

Strangers become friends at Civil Society Brewing Co., an industrial-style taproom with an outdoor beer garden hosting a rotating selection of food trucks. Make a night of it by taking part in weekly bingo on Wednesdays or trivia on Thursdays.

Show Pony Palm Beach

Michael Walker returned to Florida in 2020 after spending more than 20 years in New York City working for big-name fashion brands. His funky finds quickly earned a following as Show Pony Palm Beach, a 15,000-square-foot vintage treasure trove filled with coastal-contemporary antiques, art, and objets d’intrigue.

Armory Art Center

The Armory Art Center’s 1939 Art Deco building is a cool enough draw, but there’s also a full calendar of events, classes, courses, and exhibitions at this historic nonprofit, where the mission is to inspire the creation and experience of art.
