On February 14, South Florida wellness devotees can celebrate a love of health, fitness and holistic living at the second annual Fresh Fest. Founders Branndi Lewis and Kierston Hodges believe health is everyone’s birthright, and this free festival aims to perpetuate healthy lifestyles. The inaugural festival featured 47 vendors, 24 fitness classes and a plethora of activities and attracted roughly 2,000 attendees, and 2015 promises to be bigger and better in every way.
From 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Meyer Amphitheater in downtown West Palm Beach will be abuzz with fitness classes, food demonstrations, workshops, speakers, vendors, music and art. Fitness opportunities include acro, aerial and indo yoga as well as Barre, kickboxing, Pilates and kids’ fitness classes. In addition, guests can participate in Raw Rüüts (a plant-based food demonstration combined with a styling and photography workshop), an Amazing Race-style competition called Zagger, a large yoga master class and GoGlow, a nighttime fitness dance party to benefit Alliance for Kids at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital.
- Festivities begin at 9 a.m.; admission is free and open to the public.
