Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation‘s third annual “Country Club Chef Showdown” will be hosted by last year’s winner, Mark Woodruff, on March 24 from 6:30-9:30 p.m at PGA National Resort & Spa—400 Ave. of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens. The chefs return to compete in an Iron Chef-style competition by creating an original entrée from the same main ingredient. Participating clubs and chefs include Robert Brovero of Breakers West Country Club, Jerome Nicolas of Ibis Golf and Country Club, Edgar Tabarquino of PGA National Members Club and Stephen Bastian of Tequesta Country Club. Guests will enjoy a fierce competition judged by a panel of experts, samples of the chefs’ creations, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and live music during the evening.
