
The Boca Raton Historical Society will host its beloved Boca Bacchanal, the annual weekend celebration of fine wine and food, April 28-30. Keeping with its storied tradition, the foodie fete will conclude with The Grand Tasting, boasting a selections of wines, Champagnes, and whiskey, as well as samplings of signature dishes by celebrated local chefs, April 30.
The Grand Tasting will take over The Addison in Boca Raton from 1 to 4 p.m. April 30. As a prelude to The Grand Tasting experience, Boca Bacchanal will present two sipping seminars from noon to 1 p.m. spotlighting The Macallan Distillery in Craigellachie, Scotland, and ZD Wines from Napa Valley, California.
The Macallan Distillery will be represented by Brand Ambassador Katie Nahat, who will pour sample sips of The Macallan, Macallan Harmony Intense Arabica, Macallan Double Cask (15 years), and the Macallan Rare Cask 2022. ZD Wines will be represented by National Sales Manager Teresa D’Aurizio, who will offer tastings of the vintner’s 2021 Chardonnay, 2021 Carneros Pinot Noir, 2019 Napa Cabernet, and the 2012 Library Cabernet.

During The Grand Tasting, guests will also indulge in samples by Silver Oak, Twomey Cellars, Domaine Carneros, DAOU, St. Supéry Estate, Coppola, Hahn, Hope Family Wine, Luca Bosio, and more. On the culinary side, enjoy bites by AlleyCat, Bazille at Nordstrom, Big in Japan, Bliss Foods, Capital Grille, Gourmetphile, Lemongrass Asian Bistro, Oceans 234, Poke Company, Ramen Lab Eatery, Sicilian Oven, and more.
There also will be a silent auction of wine, dining, travel, and lifestyle packages, including a Holland America Cruise for two; a Salmanazar of Taittinger Brut La Française; a Truchard Wine Tasting for 10 guests; a vacation on a solar yacht; luxurious hotel stays; and memorable restaurant experiences.
