Café Boulud will transport diners to Italy—no passport required—during its “An Evening in Italia” wine dinner September 9. The four-course dinner will begin at 7 p.m., following a seated reception at 6:45. Sommelier Imre Papp will lead a tour across different regions of Italy, beginning with Prosecco from the hills of Cartizze and continuing through Tuscany and Umbria. Chef Dieter Samijn will create exquisite French fare with a Floridian twist, and executive pastry chef Julie Franceschini will craft a closing course sure to delight. Tickets cost $165 per person.
