Continuing in its mission of ensuring growth and prosperity to Palm Beach County, the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches welcomes its newest team member, Jamie Walton, as director of special events. Joining the chamber after a successful stint as the director of development at Easter Seals Florida, Walton oversaw all fundraising and donor development efforts, specifically targeting C-level executives of large retail companies with revenues exceeding $1 million annually.
With a solid background in marketing, event management and fundraising, Walton will now take the reigns organizing the chamber’s annual events, networking programs, and seminars and educational workshops. “I am thrilled to be part of the Chamber team,” said Walton. “My entire career has been spent in the events industry and I look forward to continuing that tradition by providing ‘best of breed’ events to the Chamber’s current and future members.”
