Born in San Diego and raised outside Seattle, Katherine Shenaman isn’t a Palm Beach native—but with her eye for design and heart for philanthropy, she fits right in. She moved cross-country to attend Palm Beach Atlantic University, studying psychology and art before making her entrée into interior design as a draftsman for Smith Architectural Group. After earning her master’s degree, she launched her own interior design company in New York City and eventually returned to Palm Beach to participate in a renovation project that won the 2010 Ballinger Award. Her latest venture, Callidus Palm Beach, is a boutique that stocks home goods, fine accessories, and gifts. When not working or traveling, Shenaman supports the Palm Beach Symphony, Peggy Adams, and PBAU’s Women of Distinction, among other causes.
