A combination of music, comedy, and technology, Blue Man Group makes for an awe-inspiring performance. The guys in blue will be in West Palm this December for the Kravis Center’s Kravis on Broadway series.
Blue Man Group
December 8-13
Production History: In 1991, Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris Wink developed a persona they deemed Blue Man, a rhythmic riff on “human.” Since debuting the character in New York, the Blue Man Group show has been seen by more than 35 million people across 15 countries.
Synopsis: Combining music, comedy, and technology, Blue Man Group productions evoke a cacophony of senses. The psychedelic visuals, seamless integration of high-tech tools, and thoughtful (often hysterical) original music awe audiences of all ages.
Why You Should See It: Despite having six permanent productions and two tours, Blue Man Group is a singular theatrical experience. Besides, this may be your only chance to sit in a “poncho section” at Dreyfoos Hall.
- Go “Beyond the Stage” for a free pre-performance musical performance by Palm City Elementary Chorus at 7:15 p.m. in the Dreyfoos Hall Lobby on Tuesday, December 8. On Saturday, December 12, don the blue mask and gloves yourself at the Broadway Reach: Blue Man Group Interactive Installation. Tickets start at $27.
