Fern Street Wine Bar & Kitchen in downtown West Palm Beach’s Arts District will launch Lunch Break, a modern food trailer concept from Nick Scalisi and Chris Muneio of Studio District Group, on Monday, April 26. With chef Eddy Zapil at the helm, the outdoor eatery will embody Fern Street’s philosophy of using clean, quality ingredients free of nitrates, antibiotics, and GMOs.

“We wanted to create a concept where diners can count on a quick lunch that’s still elevated and incorporates quality ingredients, unique flavor combinations and a fun vibe, which is what our Fern Street customers have come to expect from us,” said Scalisi, co-owner of Studio District Group.

The casual menu crafted by Zapil features a mix of tacos, garnachas (fried tortillas with meat and cheese), pupusas (savory stuffed corn cakes), empanadas, ceviche, salads, sandwiches, and snacks, all ranging from $4-$13. Standout items include tempura fish tacos topped with pickled fruits, veggies, and Latin slaw; a hanger steak garnacha; a pork belly pupusa; and a ceviche tostada prepared with local fish. Beverages include a selection of house-made fruit and herb waters, kombucha, and cold brew coffee.

Guests can enjoy casual outdoor seating surrounded by oversized murals by local artists and lush plants. Take-out will also be available. Lunch Break will be open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
