Celebrate the Fourth in true Palm Beach fashion at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa. From 4-6 p.m., Reef Tiki Bar will be popping some bottles for its “Bubbles on the Beach” happy hour event, ringing in a happy birthday to the United States of America with effervescence and some tasty bites to boot.
The party, sponsored in part by Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne so you know to bubbles are legit, will include a menu boasting lobster egg rolls topped with mango duck sauce, Chinese barbecue chicken wings with Asian pear slaw, and miso chicken salad spoons – a global twist on some all-American favorites.
Not to be outdone, SiSpa is offering its own bubble-infused spa treatment to help you unwind before those bombs burst in air. Bubbles by the Si, $99 for 50 minutes, begins with a bourbon bubbler exfoliation scrub, followed by a chocolate mask, which is packed with enzymes to help protect and revitalize the skin from the inside out. You are then wrapped in a cocoon wrap, while receiving a scalp and foot massage. To top is all off, guests can opt for an effervescent soak in a private Jacuzzi while sipping on some bubbly for an additional $25 – not a bad way to spend the Fourth.
Cap the evening with dinner at 3800 Ocean, the resort’s inventive seaside restaurant and all-around local seafood expert – the crispy skin local snapper ($36) is a must. At 9 p.m., head poolside, where you can catch views of West Palm Beach’s downtown fireworks extravaganza, sans the bustling Clematis Street crowds.
