Head to Michelin-recommended Palm Beach Meats in West Palm Beach for Mango Fest. Taking place July 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the pop-up event will showcase locally grown mangos from chef Dan Ramos’ Red Splendor Farm as well as a lineup of local chefs and food artisans crafting mango-inspired dishes, drinks, and desserts.
Palm Beach Meats will offer a Kurobuta pork sandwich with napa cabbage slaw with mango, piquillo peppers, and cilantro, plus a crispy Wagyu-mango rice bowl with mango soy marinade, jasmine rice, mango, red bell peppers, red onion, and Thai basil. How Ya Dough’n will have a mango prosciutto pizza, while Miss Marsha’s will craft a sweet mango pie. Ahmay’s Burmese Street Food will offer three dishes: amethar kin (grilled steak that has been marinated in garlic, ginger, and garam masala), kyathar kin (grilled chicken that has been marinated in turmeric, spices, and yogurt), and khayan thee kin (grilled eggplant rounds basted in tamarind-tomato-mango sauce).
Later that evening, from 5 to 9 p.m., Palm Beach Meats will host its monthly Steakhouse Night, a reservation-only dinner featuring Wagyu cuts, classic steakhouse sides, and fine wines. Fifteen percent of all sales from the dinner will be donated to support survivors of domestic abuse.
