It’s shaping up to be a picture-perfect season at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre in West Palm Beach. The Centre’s gallery space will set the scene for the “Twenty-Fifth Annual Members’ Show,” a juried exhibition of 38 members’ photography, snapped from the beaches of Florida to the rooftops of Paris.
The collection of 99 images captures the simple pleasures of life and the joys of experiencing them after a challenging year. From Wellington resident Laura Tracey’s Madi in the Surf to Boynton Beach’s own Peter Collins’ Long Island Ferry, and Stuart resident Louis Foubare’s Paris Rainbow, the member photographers transport viewers into palpably peaceful moments near and far.
Photojournalist, Zuma Press founder, and Palm Beach Photographic Centre board member Scott Mc Kiernan served as this year’s juror. The exhibition kicked off with an opening reception September 1 and will be on view to October 30.
