September 18 marks National Cheeseburger Day, and to celebrate, we’ve rounded up some of the best places around town to grab one of these favorite American handhelds. Whether you drop by for lunch or stop in for dinner, make sure to get your cheeseburger fix satisfied at one of these restaurants.
BurgerFi
To kick things off, urban burger joint BurgerFi is offering a deal from open to close. Guests can get a Double Natural Angus Burger or Double American Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi sauce for just $5 (must ask for offer or show on phone).
The Counter
For the creative types who like their burgers done their own particular way, The Counter offers a custom-built burger bar perfect for pleasing the pickiest of palates. Located in the Gardens Mall, the restaurant offers quality meats, created sauces, toasted buns, melted cheeses, and crafted shakes. Can’t decide on what to make? Try one of their seasonal burgers before they’re gone – the Korean BBQ Steak Burger features grilled skirt steak with gochujang aioli on a Hawaiian bun while the spicy Carne Asada Burger, with its fresh jalapenos and grilled Anaheim chiles, is meant for those who like their flavors to have a little extra kick.
Café Boulud

Looking for something a little fancier? Stop by Café Boulud, located on the island, and try its CBPB Burger, which comes with a 9 oz. beef patty topped with shaved iceberg lettuce, tomato, and red onion piled high on a sesame bun. Want to make it even richer? Add Vermont cheddar and crispy house-cured bacon and pair it with the restaurant’s signature pomme frites and homemade ketchup.

The Alchemist Gastropub & Bar
Tired of the same old meat-and-cheese combinations? If you’re looking to try something new, stop by The Alchemist Gastropub & Bar for its signature burger, a 12 oz., cheddar-stuffed pork burger that comes piled with pork belly, cracklings, baby kale, and chipotle ketchup. (Truffle fries finish off the decadent meal.)
Burgers & Brew at Breeze Ocean Kitchen
Still can’t decide on a single burger to try? Then don’t miss the Burgers & Brew event at Breeze Ocean Kitchen on September 18. From 1-5 p.m., guests at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa restaurant will be treated to all the gourmet burgers and toppings they can eat, along with craft beer tastings from five of the area’s top local breweries.
Toppings include traditional garden picks ranging from sliced, grilled, and roasted vegetables to coleslaw and kimchi, along with additional meats such as bacon, prosciutto, and beef chili, as well as all the cheeses and condiments you can think of. Beer tents will include selections from Barrel of Monks, Due South, Funky Buddha, Saltwater, and Twisted Trunk.
The event will also feature live music including Arturo Romay, and will include complimentary valet parking, a gift bag for each guest, and Eau-branded beer growlers available for purchase.
