North Palm Beacher Bethany Sharp Solves a Fashionista Vacationing Fear

Sharp’s new service, Lady JetSet, offers the fashion forward an alternative to baggage claim, checked bags, and lost luggage.

After a near-miss involving a baggage claim delay and a connecting flight, Bethany Sharp and her husband, pro racecar driver Scott Sharp, vowed to stick to carry-ons for their frequent travels. This decision brought Sharp’s passion for pairing every event with the perfect outfit to a halt. As a result, she began planning to have her trip wardrobes waiting for her upon arrival. Soon, Lady Jetset, a travel concierge service that rents high-end designer wear, was born.

“We ship your travel wardrobe to your destination ahead of time so you can skip the hassle of packing and hauling it all with you,” explains Sharp, a resident of North Palm Beach. “I like to say it’s the Uber Black of shopping and packing. It’s not for the classic black dress that does make sense to buy, keep, and wear again—it’s the fabulous trending ruffle gown that makes everyone in the room do a double take. What makes wearing that incredible dress on vacation even better is being able to leave it hanging in your closet for someone else to dry clean and ship back.”

Lady Jetset operates in a similar fashion to other rental wardrobe companies by allowing users to make selections from an online catalogue. And the service works for more than just travel getaways; Lady Jetset can dress you for nine days in Fiji or do same-day delivery in Florida for a one-night look.
