The Wick Theatre and Costume Museum is ushering in the next generation of theatergoers when it brings Miranda and the Frog Prince to the stage, July 31-August 8.
Produced by Dream Child Productions, Miranda and the Frog Prince brings the classic Brother’s Grimm fairytale to life, with all its zany characters. Princess Miranda has dropped her golden ball into a pond near the castle. Unable to reclaim her prized toy, she befriends a talking frog, the Frog Prince, who promises to retrieve the ball if she promises to bring him back to the castle. After retrieving the golden ball, Miranda backs out of her promise, prompting the Frog Prince to make his way into the walled fortress on his own, with all the entertaining adventures one would expect.
- This family-friendly production will take the stage for five shows only: July 31 at 10 a.m.; August 1 at 10 a.m.; August 7 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and August 8 at 10 a.m. Tickets cost $15 for the show, and $25 for the show and lunch. For more information, visit thewick.org.
