The Libby Dobson’s Live at Lynn Theatre Series is bringing a true Broadway triple threat when it welcomes a trio of Christine Daaés to the stage at the Wold Performing Arts Center on March 28 and 29. The last show of Live at Lynn’s tenth season, “The Phantom’s Leading Ladies” concert will included everything from Broadway classics to the Beatles and selections from the Great American Songbook, as solo acts, and in three-part harmony.
The concert came about through the friendships formed in the unique sorority of Broadway performers, all of who starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera as the lead female protagonist, Christine Daaé. Starring Mary D’Arcy, who played opposite original Phantom Michael Crawford; Karen Culliver, who starred on Broadway; and Terri Bigg who starred both on Broadway and in the National Tour; when taken together, these three women have performed in more than 4,000 performances of The Phantom, one of Broadway’s most beloved and longest-running musicals.
- “The Phantom’s Leading Ladies” will share some of their favorite tunes from Broadway and more on March 28 at 7:20 and March 29 at 4 p.m. Tickets start at $45. For more information, visit events.lynn.edu.
