To ensure a happy start to the new year for local shelter animals, Palm Beachers Andrea Stark, Adrien Arpel, and Lauren Newman pledged to supply Tri-County Animal Rescue with rugs, blankets, food, and treats as “Go-Gifts” for all dogs and cats adopted from the shelter in 2021.

Inspiration for the donation was sparked at a December adoption event at Stark’s home in Palm Beach. There, the owner of Stark Carpets and the other members of the philanthropic trio decided to use their generosity and love of animals to finding forever families for the shelter animals at Tri-County Animal Rescue by the end of 2020.

The trio pooled their talents, resources, and connections to collect food, plush rugs, mats and blankets, treats, toys, and other pet necessities for each adoptive family.

Dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes were brought from the Boca Raton shelter to Palm Beach to meet their forever families. Encouraged by the success of the adoption event, Stark, Arpel, and Newman will continue the events and supplies collection in 2021.
