Mother’s Day brunches, shopping trips, and weekend getaways may have been put on pause due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, but celebrating mom and the other important women in our lives is still a top priority. Fortunately, Palm Beach County retailers and hotels are working diligently to ensure that mom feels deservedly special on the celebratory day.

For sustainability-minded moms, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is featuring Mother’s Day gifts that also honor Mother Earth on its e-store. Mom can wrap leftovers in Bee’s Wrap, a natural and sustainable alternative to plastic wrap, adopt a sea turtle, or don ShanOre Jewelry‘s delightfully playful rose gold turtle stud earrings. Orders can be picked up curbside.

To treat the important women in your life to some much needed rest and relaxation, The Brazilian Court is offering its luxurious “A Moment for Mom” accommodation through October 31. This two night “mom-cation” at the Palm Beach hotel features a spa treatment at the acclaimed salon, a private chauffeur to and from the beach in the hotel’s Cadillac Escalade, a pre-stocked pool chaise with essentials like sunscreen and designer sunglasses, and more.

For a mother-daughter shopping spree, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is celebrating Mother’s Day with a chance to win a $500 shopping spree. Shoppers can text “PBGMOM” to 55800 for a chance to win. The contest is open through May 31.

This year, a delicious Mother’s Day brunch or dinner spread can be served from the comfort of home. Eateries like Johan’s Joe, Potions in Motions, Casa D’Angelo, Pistache, Limoncello, Avocado Grill, 1000 NORTH, Death or Glory, III Forks, and Hoffman’s Chocolates are offering takeout and delivery of curated menus for the holiday.
