Plant Forward, Grandview Public Market’s new plant-based gourmet market and restaurant, will help locals unwind and feel centered ahead of the holiday season with its Autumn Harvest event at the market on Saturday, November 21. The wellness-themed day kicks off at 10 a.m. with a vinyasa yoga flow led by Natalie Addison and Chad Carpenter. The morning yoga will be followed by a community meal catered by Vegan Wagon and an introduction to plant-based eating conversation with Alex Chebal, the chef behind Vegan Wagon and Plant Forward. Admission costs $15 per person with proceeds benefitting Inner City Innovators, a local nonprofit that works to empower inner-city youth through mentoring and programming.
